The Villainous Noble Who Kept Rewinding After Death: The Story Somehow Changed When I Committed Suicide
何度も死に戻りした悪役貴族〜自殺したらなんかストーリーが変わったんだが〜Louis Valentine, a villainous noble, has one ultimate goal: to fall into an eternal slumber.
Louis has experienced countless cycles of dying and rewinding, with causes of death ranging from the mundane to the tragic. After repeating this cycle of life and death innumerable times, Louis eventually stopped seeking to live and instead lived solely with the aim of dying.
In his previous life, on a whim, he chose to end it all through suicide.
He didn’t expect much to change, and as expected, he rewound after death, as he always did.
“So, even suicide doesn’t work. Fine, I’ll just enjoy myself and die like always.”
Determined to indulge himself and die on his own terms, Louis was surprised when his new life turned out to be different from all the rest.
For some reason, the “Reapers” in his life, including his fiancée, began to pay him unusual amounts of attention.
“Something’s not right here.”
This is the story of a boy who, by committing suicide, strayed from the path of his usual cycles, finding himself surrounded by people who unexpectedly care for him while continuing his pursuit of eternal death.

Here’s a preliminary review based off the first 34 chapters that make up the first arc of the story.
It smells of newbie author. It’s aggressively mediocre.
The writing style is beginner level, in a basic format of then without any charm. Characters are pretty flat with any depth to their characters shown in the form of rehashed POV chapters, though at least they compress the rehash. The story so far is packed full of tropes with no stand out novel factor to it. It’s the type of story where you’d drop it as soon as you stop reading it. The combat so far wasn’t interesting enough so I skimmed over most of it.
But I like academy stories and I like the premise. I’ll try to give the second arc a shot and see if the writer improves at all, since this is a story that’s lasted nearly 400 chapters…
The premise is misleading. I am expecting a protagonist who is actually suicidal, but no, he is not. Dropped.
