Having a strong sense of pride as a noble and also pride as a knight, he felt disgust toward the overly laid-back Lewis. Lewis, in turn, despises Ride’s overly serious nature, creating a highly unfavorable dynamic between them.

As a result, during the ranking battle, Ride tried to challenge Lewis but was entirely ignored, and he suffered the humiliation of being beaten by Fiera, whom he mocked for being a girl, and then being forced to concede defeat.

In a fit of anger, Ride mocked Lewis’s parents but, stepping on a landmine, he found himself unable to land a hit on Lewis and had his spirit crushed.

The following day, he properly apologized to Lewis, turned over a new leaf, and traded his prized magic sword for a regular sword.

In the past, Ride had participated in a martial arts tournament, winning several matches using his magic sword, but found himself up against the protagonist Shudo in the main event, where he ultimately lost in a close contest.

Afterward, having both used the same sword, they grew close, establishing a friendship while being rivals.

However, in this life, he hasn’t used a magic sword, so he hasn’t dueled with Shudo yet, leaving their relationship stagnant.

She’s one of the top powerhouses in the Ruzenia Empire, surpassing even the current Lewis, with an extraordinary amount of strength.

What she did in the past remains unclear, but considering Lewis doesn’t touch on it much, it’s likely they had little connection.

Currently, she’s challenged by Lewis, and for fun proposed that if she wins, they should marry.

With her cheerful personality and always upbeat demeanor, she’s very popular among students, boasting immense popularity from the audience during the martial arts tournament, claiming to be the idol of the Suzette Imperial Academy.

However, she is often at the mercy of the free-spirited Lewis and frequently suffers from stomach pains due to his refusal to listen to her.

A fairy born from the legend that if you get lost in the academy, a fairy will come to your aid.

When called upon to introduce to Lewis, Fiera was enchanted by her cuteness.

Shuvina often gets lost, thus needing guidance, but Fiera occasionally calls her out simply because she wants to meet her.

In reality, she’s close with Dōna, Shuvina’s contracted spirit, and they invite other fairies to have tea parties together, where the popular topic of conversation is the tales of Lewis and the others’ adventures, much to the delight of the fairies, who can’t venture outside the academy.

After a year of analyzing Sharueina’s battle methods and the characteristics of her sword, he tenaciously entered the martial arts tournament, even though he could have chosen not to participate.

However, having overlooked the option of utilizing martial arts due to the disparity in physique and strength, he ultimately got slammed down by Sharueina’s throw before conceding defeat.
