The President of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, received contact from Anastasia and made a significant decision.

Yeah. Finally, the determination to reclaim the lands taken by those British and French scoundrels.

He called Prime Minister İsmet İnönü.

“Since the French mainland has been red, now’s our chance. Let’s drive out the French in Anatolia and recover Syria.”

“Finally, we will recover Syria.”

The justification is perfect.

As a defensive coalition, and with the communists at our border, we must reclaim the lands taken from us in the past treaty to prevent the red plague from spreading.

Of course, the French exile government in Algeria might protest, but then we can simply ask, “Are you Reds too?” and challenge them.

This is certainly not war.

Yeah. This is best described as a special military operation.

At first, I thought the Empress of Russia was lying and merely throwing us a fake bait of territorial recovery to ensure Turkey had no choice but to succumb, but it turned out to be real.

Once or twice, that might be a mere coincidence. It could happen, but it doesn’t quite explain everything.

What lies in her future? Perhaps she hasn’t seen the downfall of Turkey.

A part of me felt doubtful.

Right now, Russia, claiming to be the descendants of Rome, is trying to recover Constantinople and Pontus to regain its pride lost in the war against the communists.

What if as Turkey grows strong, she intends to gobble us up then—

Kemal shook his head lightly.

No, that shouldn’t be the case. That would be too much. If that were the case, she would have rushed in and stomped us down when there was a chance.

If all of this is a script in the hands of the Tsar, then Russia could push out Communist Germany, Communist France, and Communist Italy in this opportunity and hold the hegemony of Europe.

What’s left of the British Army is hardly worth discussing.

Whatever, it’s fine. Turkey may have lost some land to Russia, but thanks to Russia, we now have this opportunity.

As Turkey reclaimed the French-occupied territories in southern Anatolia and Syria, the government-in-exile in Algeria, having received the news late, protested to Atatürk.

“What is the meaning of this? Even if we lost the mainland, launching a surprise attack without declaring war is outrageous!”

“This isn’t war; it’s a special military operation. The French Commune claims to have inherited the entirety of the French Republic’s territories. In other words, it’s Red land. Can you really say that the French, having lost their mainland, can still claim to be the owners of that land?”

Turkey had plenty to say in response.

In fact, the French Commune had indeed claimed ownership of all territories, asserting they succeeded the French Republic.

Of course, it was merely a justification by a communist regime, attempting to reclaim colonies they claimed were rightfully theirs.

However, it was the perfect opportunity for Turkey to reclaim its land.

“You will eventually regret this.”

“If we still have the power to make you regret it, I wouldn’t know.”

İnönü sneered out loud.

Those who have lost their homeland certainly have no right to speak of regret.

In the end, these people would need to rely on Russia’s goodwill; how dare they say such things.

“What?”

“Did you say regret? We never once forgot the last great war. Britain and France, we will never forget how you dismantled us.”

“So are you declaring hostility against us now? The Empress of Russia will surely show mercy.”

France had faith in Russia.

After all, Turkey is practically in Russia’s backyard.

Would Russia be pleased with Turkey growing like this?

This was a farce that arose because they didn’t know about the secret talks between Anastasia and Kemal.

“Who can be more trustworthy: the fiercely red France or our ally Turkey? Britain has lost its army—aren’t they now in a position to appease us?”

France had lost its mainland. The elite troops have vanished, and Britain can’t even manage its colonies.

Isn’t the outcome obvious?

The coming era will be led by Russia, and since Russia has stated it will assist Turkey, the time of Britain and France is over.

Thus, İnönü boldly demanded.

“Return to us the lands you took from us during the Great War, and we shall valiantly fight against communist nations. Isn’t reclaiming our land the ideal condition for liberating our homeland?”

“Kuh.”

The French government found themselves at a loss.

After all, those French Commune folks claimed all the French-occupied territories belonged to them, so Turkey’s actions were simply a legitimate pre-emptive strike.

Moreover, now having lost their mainland and effectively becoming beholden to the Algerians, they have no position to shout at Turkey.

As for Britain, what more was there to say?

It had long been in a position to send its Mediterranean fleet back home.

And if it collided with the French Commune and Italian fleets, the navy would suffer substantial losses.

Abandoning colonial defense, they were in no position to rely on the local military of those colonies.

They had to pull in other forces somehow.

“If Turkey helps us, we, Britain, will return all the territories we acquired from the Ottoman Empire during the last great war.”

While Britain may have no way to affect France, it was willing to relinquish the small amount of land it had taken from the Ottomans.

Of course, Kemal was not pleased even with this.

“If you have the chance, you must take every opportunity.”

“Give us Palestine and Jordan as well.”

Britain was furious at Turkey’s demands, frustrated by how much Turkey had grown, but had no way out.

At this rate, Turkey could very well advance into Jordan and Palestine, and Britain would have no power to stop them.

Moreover, with Russia backing them, it made things even tougher.

In the end, Britain had to accept Turkey’s demands, recognizing Palestine and Jordan as Turkey’s territory once again, and it had to withdraw from the Levant region.

Meanwhile, Austria received an ultimatum from Communist Germany.

Depose the Kaiser, cease the persecution of the Austrian Communist Party, demolish all border fortifications, and accept communism for the liberation of the workers.

These were conditions Austria simply could not accept.

Just looking at the recognition of the communist party and the requirement to accept communism made it clear it was a total demand to overthrow the government.

Hitler scoffed at Goebbels’ ultimatum.

“Not worth pondering.”

“Finally, it’s our turn.”

I never expected France to fall so quickly.

“Poland is still holding out, but it won’t last long. In the end, we will be the bulwark against communism.”

Looking at it from top to bottom, isn’t it apparent we fill the role of a bulwark?

I absolutely refuse to lose this.

Poland is holding out for now, so even if they refuse the ultimatum, it won’t lead to immediate invasion.

But there’s not the slightest intention to remotely concede.

Hitler suddenly turned his gaze eastward.

Britain is struggling with defense of its mainland, and France has lost its land.

This is probably going just as the Empress of Russia wishes.

Now Russia could sweep in and capture the Reds in no time.

Isn’t it clear who will maintain order in Europe?

I may hate losing influence to the Slavs, but for now, I have no choice.

Now her perfect scenario is approaching.

Britain and France will be in ruins, and the Baltic and Balkan states will cling to the skirts of Russia.

With Britain suffering heavily, if it were to abandon its colonies, it would dare not resist Russia in the post-war period, and France, even if it regained its mainland, wouldn’t be able to win against Russia at its level.

So, when will the Empress of Moscow finally move?

In the end, Russia will become the game-changer.

During the war engulfing Europe, we were busy building reactors in Moscow and diligently raising our nuclear development tech.

Thanks to the sacrifices of the Bolsheviks, who were defiantly throwing themselves for the Russian Republic in Siberia, the dangers of radiation have certainly been acknowledged, and nuclear research has forged ahead swiftly.

Japan would be asking, “Can you really be saying such things, Maruta?”

Well, thanks to that, we could utilize the Bolsheviks effectively.

We could conduct large-scale roadworks and nuclear tests without any qualms.

“Wow, this is quite impressive.”

I marveled at the reactor in Moscow.

Of course, being an early reactor, it feels rather crude compared to modern ones.

Honestly, even if they got wrecked at Dunkirk, there’s really no one in England who can match Churchill’s leadership right now.

Moreover, the war isn’t over yet.

As long as the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy remain intact, they’ll manage to hold on somehow.

Of course, they’ll lose a lot, but the once-great British Empire, maintaining its colonies, has now lost the strength to uphold them.

Naturally, countries that had grievances against Britain will vent their discontent.

For example, Turkey.

“The Turkish forces have recovered up to Syria, and it’s been confirmed that they received ownership verification of the Levant region in negotiations with Britain.”

The timely news delivered by the Turkish diplomat made a smile spread across my face.

Just as I hoped, Turkey was diligently looking to take advantage of the situation by conducting a special military operation under the guise of eliminating the communists from Anatolia and Syria, and, of course, they emerged victorious.

Kyah. This is a jackpot.

If Britain is bending to Turkey’s demands, it seems they’re in such a weakened position they can’t resist at all.

What could possibly be happening to India, a jewel of Britain?

If they can’t handle colonies, then India certainly won’t remain quiet.

Their elite troops were completely massacred.

They probably have to bring in colonial garrisons somehow. Britain will do everything in its power not to relinquish India.

Therefore, it seems they might draw from the British mainland, excluding those colonial garrisons.

Soon, Home Guard units will emerge.

Of course, the Home Guard is said to be merely second-rate militia and poorly equipped.

In actual history, they tossed their equipment and fled at Dunkirk, meaning they might be even less equipped now.

How much worse could this history be than the actual one, where they’re said to have had spears?

Still, the Home Guard is truly a reserve. It’s basically a stopgap for population replacement.

While the British may struggle to land, with all their navy gathered, they could potentially prevent invasions on the mainland.

Communist Germany will also crush Poland and Austria and will undoubtedly avoid the Sea Lion operation to prepare for the final battle with Russia.

In fact, if they attempted the Sea Lion operation and suffered greatly, they’d end up stretched too thin before even fighting Russia.
