It didn’t take Gao Tian and his group long to return to the Narrow Alley. The fat guy and the others hadn’t gone far either. Upon hearing their news, they quickly rushed back.
“All the other groups are ready. We’re about to move out,” Gao Tian said as he glanced around at everyone, his voice serious. “The distribution of the outer wall guards hasn’t changed, so we can proceed according to our original plan. Once we get close to the outer wall, I’ll send a message to the other groups, and they’ll distract the guards while you handle the demolition.”

Then Gao Tian surveyed them again, “So, your stuff…”
“Don’t worry, it’s all ready,” Ling Mo replied with a smile.
Gao Tian’s gaze swept over the vehicle they were in, still not seeing anything resembling bags to carry their ‘gear’. He just couldn’t figure out where this group had hidden their “weapons.”
But he didn’t press the matter further, “Alright then, let’s go.”
So, a group of them swaggered into their vehicle and drove to the outer wall, parking as close as possible.
At that moment, Gao Tian had left his own squad to squeeze into Ling Mo’s vehicle. As he looked outside at the patrolling guard squads at intervals, he asked again, “Are you all ready?”
“We’re ready,” Ling Mo confirmed with a nod. “We can start.”
Gao Tian took a deep breath and dialed a number on his phone: “Hello? We can start moving.”
About a minute later, a loud explosion suddenly erupted nearby, drawing the attention of all the patrolling guard squads, who all rushed towards the source of the sound with their guns raised.
With the guards distracted, Gao Tian immediately opened the car door and rushed out, “Quick! Now’s our chance; blow up the outer wall! We need to create a path for the following teams!”
Then… he watched as Ling Mo and the others got out of the car carrying RPGs.

Was that thing in the car before?
And is it really for mining purposes?
Seeing his stunned expression, Ling Mo smiled sincerely, “The mines we used before got a bit tougher, so the blasting equipment is a bit… special.”
Gao Tian’s lip twitched as he finally couldn’t hold back, “You guys… where the heck did you hide those long things before?”
And each of them had one! He even noticed that there was a large bag of shells in the back of the car.
Ling Mo’s smile deepened, “Do you believe in interdimensional pockets?”
In fact, they had gradually manifested while he was in the car. His manifestation speed and range had significantly improved, thanks to Xia Xinyan’s training during that period. Manifesting modern weapons from this era was now as easy for him as eating and drinking.
Gao Tian was sitting in the passenger seat, so he hadn’t noticed Ling Mo’s actions right under his nose.
But upon hearing this nonsense, Gao Tian asked, astonished, “Interdimensional pocket? Is it a space storage device?”
Hearing this, Xia Xinyan glanced at him curiously.
Before Ling Mo could respond, a huge explosion suddenly interrupted their chatter.
The fat guy and the others couldn’t wait any longer and fired the RPGs. Several shells hit the high wall, causing a massive explosion and sending clouds of smoke rising, instantly triggering screams from all the surrounding pedestrians, as if the festivities had begun.
The high wall was quite sturdy; a few RPG shots only created a shallow pit. But it didn’t matter; they still had a whole bag of ammunition in the car. Under the onslaught, even the thickest wall couldn’t withstand the repeated bombardment, and finally, with a resounding crash, a gap collapsed.
The fat guy quickly backed away, “Bro, isn’t it time to move in?”
Gao Tian was still somewhat dazed.
But he kept his position and nodded, “Yeah, let’s go. We need to clear the path to the Control Hub for the follow-up teams. They’ll catch up with us soon.”
The fat guy smirked, rubbing his hands, “Alright, finally able to stretch my legs! Brothers, let’s go!”
When the smoke cleared, Gao Tian led them through the breach into the high wall.
Inside the high wall… it felt like a military management zone. As far as the eye could see, there were no other decorations besides steel structures—and notably, they saw no guards, not even a single person.
As if the guards outside were the entirety of the force here.
Gao Tian looked around, puzzled, “Why is there no one here?”
“Be careful, the Control Hub is definitely not too safe,” Gao Tian reminded them. “We’ll explore slowly ahead…”
Before he could finish, a silver flying vehicle with a futuristic feel suddenly shot out from an exit on the spire and hovered above them. Then its belly opened, dropping down a dozen silver robots.
Gao Tian was startled, “Watch out! They’re killing machines! Very powerful!”
Saying this, he and his teammates turned to run.
Ling Mo and the others: “…”
So what the heck were they here to do?
The fat guy looked at the awakening silver robots ahead, stroking his chin, “Don’t you think these rebels are like the stereotypical teammates in other games who just pretend to help the protagonist but actually just slack off in battles?”
“That sounds about right,” Gao Tian got a bit excited, stretching his body. “Actually, it’s normal. This is a player dungeon after all; they won’t be much help. But… finally, it’s time to act! I’ve been itching for this moment! Brothers, I’m charging in first!”
With that, he spread his wings and soared towards the robots, smashing the first one right in the nose.
