Chapter 109
As I opened my eyes, what greeted me was a gigantic full moon, a small red moon, and a blue moon.
Three types of moons were floating gently in the sky.
Lying down to look at the black night sky, it was filled with twinkling stars.
“I thought for sure I was dead…”
The blonde girl muttered with a slightly muffled voice.
Despite a slight discomfort, there were no problems with her body.
The wound on her chest that felt like it had been pierced through the heart by a sharp blade had vanished.
There were two discomforts: a lingering smell of blood in her mouth.
And the rough texture of gravel felt painful against her back.
Someone was holding the blonde girl’s hand tightly, and when she turned her head to look, there sat a black agent.
The black agent had a face marked with worry and concern.
Upon seeing that face, the girl felt a sense of relief spread through her heart.
The girl and the man silently stared at each other’s faces but did not speak.
After a silence that wasn’t uncomfortable, the black agent picked the girl up and stood up.
And slowly walked across the rustling gravel patch.
The girl buried her face in the agent’s chest and said, “I’m sorry, Ahjussi.”
“It’s alright.”
In a slightly muffled voice, the girl continued, “What do we do now? I followed the Heart’s guidance, but it was futile.”
“I’m sure there’s a way. Let’s go find someone who might help.”
“Oh, don’t tell me it’s that guy in the yellow suit…”
A man in a flamboyantly colored yellow suit suddenly popped into the girl’s mind.
“Yes, if it’s him, he can definitely help.”
Though the yellow detective left a somewhat untrustworthy impression in the girl’s memory, she resolved to follow the man’s lead after setting aside her doubts.
After all, the uncle’s advice had never been wrong.
The blonde girl hid her face in the black agent’s embrace and smiled gently.

It was the end of days.
The end of days had arrived in the Mini Reaper Garden.
As I lay in the Mini Reaper Garden, munching on snacks, strange things began to appear.
Giant blue hats as big as their own bodies.
Golden Reapers had started a trend of wearing blue Reaper style.
Wherever you looked, you could see Golden Reapers wandering around with large hats made of water.
Golden Reapers walking proudly in their hats, while other Golden Reapers looked on with envious expressions.
Then the Golden Reaper wearing a hat would lend it to the envious Reaper, grinning widely.
The Reaper receiving the hat would pose proudly, believing they looked cool, and applause would erupt around.
Perhaps because the hats were made by the Blue Reaper’s magic, unlike the originals, they turned back to water after about an hour, but that alone seemed to bring joy to the Golden Reapers.
Still, there were more Golden Reapers like me who found wearing anything uncomfortable, but I felt that the number of Golden Reapers resisting wearing something was gradually decreasing.
At this rate, wouldn’t they soon surpass wearing hats and start wearing clothes or shoes as well?
I might have to let the Blue Reaper know just how uncomfortable clothing can be soon.
If things keep going like this, the Golden Reapers might pick up some bad habits!
Nomm nomm.
As I watched Golden Reapers joyfully playing with the witch hats, I spent my time eating fluffy cake little by little.
Then suddenly, a hat far too big for a Mini Reaper appeared in the corner of my vision.
The witch hat floated gently through the air and soon landed right in front of me.
The Blue Reaper slowly approached and began to look up at my face.
What’s this?
The Blue Reaper stared at me with shining eyes, looking eager for something.
Could it be that she wants me to wear it?
After a few seconds of making eye contact with the Blue Reaper, she started weaving strings in the air when I didn’t do anything.
<I made a big hat!>
Yes, yes. Good job.
I patted the Blue Reaper’s head, filled with a sense of encouragement.
She looked happy, but after a moment, she tilted her head and asked.
<Are you not going to wear the hat?>
Hmm.
I didn’t want to wear it because it was uncomfortable.
Looking down, the Blue Reaper had a face like she was about to cry.
Well, she’s the weak youngest sibling without physical immunity, so I couldn’t help it.
I lifted the big hat and plopped it onto my head.
As soon as I wore the hat, the Blue Reaper beamed with a big smile.
But once it was on, I realized it was way too big and incredibly uncomfortable.
The brim of the hat was wide enough to use as a blanket!
I wanted to take it off right away, but all the Golden Reapers who had been watching began to gather around to play.
Golden Reapers hung off the huge brim, laughing and enjoying themselves.
The Blue Reaper was wandering around, happily beaming.
As the Mini Reapers seemed so delighted, I figured I’d just have to endure the discomfort until an hour passed.
<It looks great!>
<Cute!>
<It suits you!>
The Blue Reaper who had brought the hat came to sit on my lap and showered me with praises in every possible way.
Even hearing compliments from the infinitely friendly Mini Reapers felt slightly odd.
Could it be that they’re brainwashing me into wearing clothes continuously?

Deep beneath Trinity Research Institute No. 3, there was a bizarrely twisted underground laboratory.
Only those who received permission from the Director of No. 3 could enter this laboratory.
To be more precise, it was a laboratory where only the ‘evolved’ humanity that the Director of No. 3 mentioned could enter.
The oil scent that embodied the entire Trinity Research Institute was overwhelmingly thick in this underground laboratory, to the point of numbing the nose.
That scent seemed glued to every corner of the laboratory, as if it would never come off.
The flickering fluorescent light illuminated this underground space, radiating an atmosphere akin to that of a mad scientist’s laboratory.
Huge glass tubes were lined up in a row, each one resembling a transparent coffin housing grotesquely twisted, already dead organisms.
Of course, there were still some living beings, but they had reached a state that could no longer be called living.
Some organisms floated in murky liquid, creating a chilling calm, while others clung to the glass, casting eerie silhouettes.
The researchers wandering around inspecting the glass tubes were also not normal.
Strange humans whose limbs were twisted, with organs visible through translucent skin.
In that twisted and deranged realm, the Director of No. 3 bore a fierce expression, his brow furrowed deeply.
“Once again, what should have been a given success has failed.”
The Director’s growling voice sounded as if he were tearing into the people standing at the table in front of him.
In response to the Director’s words, a man dressed in Trinity security attire replied.
“It couldn’t have succeeded. Director, you underestimate the Gray Reaper too much. What’s the reason for such disdain?”
“There was indeed a reason. The very existence of the ‘Gray Reaper’ was proof of my victory. However, seeing it fail like this makes me think my judgment was wrong.”
The Director wiped the expression from his face and issued orders calmly.
“Recognize the Gray Reaper as the biggest variable and set it as our top priority from now on.”
The man in the security outfit admired the Director’s decision.
“Finally!”
“The plan for dealing with the Gray Reaper is simple. First, we’ll transfer the Gray Reaper to Trinity Research Institute No. 3 and deal with it securely on our home ground. Until then, ensure we thoroughly review the data on the Gray Reaper.”
A woman in a lab coat who had been silently listening to the Director’s instructions replied.
“Then I’ll plan to temporarily obtain it through the Object Association in a rental format. Director.”
The man in the security outfit laughed widely, his mouth stretching from ear to ear.
“Finally, we can properly fight the Gray Reaper. No matter how high-level the object, it should be easily manageable here at Trinity Research Institute.”
“Then, we conclude this meeting.”
The meeting ended with the last words of the Director of No. 3.
In a corner of the now-empty conference room, a small purple hermit crab was sleeping inside a glass tube.

Late at night, as the sun disappeared below the horizon.
The blonde girl and the black agent arrived in front of the detective agency.
“Ahjussi, I’m a bit nervous. Is this really okay?”
“He’s someone reliable, so you can rest easy, Young Miss.”
Knock knock.
As I knocked on the detective agency’s door, a man in a yellow suit burst out from inside.
“Welcome, my friend. I’ve been waiting. The juniors were waiting for a welcome party too.”
Behind the yellow detective stood three female employees of the agency.
One was polishing a gigantic hammer.
One had two golden horns on her head.
And there was a girl who looked to be no older than ten.
Upon seeing a girl roughly her age, the blonde girl poked the black agent’s back.
“Ahjussi, are you sure this is okay?”
An elementary school student working as an employee at a detective agency?
The blonde girl felt a sense of suspicion rising within her.
