[Principal’s Ruins] is a grade-exclusive dungeon event that can only be accessed when you reach the fourth year in the game.
Since it’s a late-game dungeon meant for mental training and ancient weekly events, the difficulty is quite high even for veteran players.
However, once you get the hang of the gimmick-type dungeons, they become as easy as doing homework, with only a few special exceptions.
Doll Play is a prime example of such an exceptional event.

The terrifying Head Sister Disastair and one of the atrocities committed under the name of a random god unfolding behind her, as remembered in the Principal’s memoirs!
Naturally, the difficulty is notably higher compared to other memories of the Principal.
The reason for listening to such terrifying tales while goofing off instead of attending classes is that I’m well-versed in every progression tactic out there!
Knowing the structure means it’s a great place to relax and empty your head.
When I’m too busy to even execute the Mana Flow Technique, exhaustion creeps in, and I might start doing things I wouldn’t normally do.
I mean, managing your body and mind is something you gotta do yourself!
I remember the time when a Four Kings of the Demon Lord went on holiday with this mindset and ended up being summoned into the great prison, instantly killed by Senior Burte Glass’s special attack…
But I’m not one of the Four Kings, and I won’t suddenly get summoned somewhere to face instant death!
[ س☆ .Sia. How about waiting outside for a bit? They seem to be oblivious, too.]
[Where you go, I go. No exceptions. And my name is Sing.]
[Hehe. Gotta use my alias well so I don’t mess up and get called Sing in public!]
Sing was in a state of enlightenment, ready for whatever might come.
Myung So would absolutely love it.
Meditation specialty. Gender switching? He’s a pro at it!
If any suffering seniors or juniors come later, I’ll have to repay them with kindness!
Today, I threw this brilliant plan into my thought basket labeled [To Do Someday] as I pondered my lightning mana-boosting divine punishment trip, thinking about how the thought hit me hard like a blow to the head.
[Entering Event Dungeon [Doll Play].]
The light faded and what appeared was nothing short of breathtaking.
The rugged mountain range seemed to be a jagged, towering formation.
At the mountain’s mid-level, a Baroque-style building caught the eye of those who gazed from afar, bringing to mind the image of a flower blooming atop a cliff, evoking admiring gasps.
In contrast, observing it up close, one might lament about the steep and crazy stairs – oh my knees! – wondering why the Principal would build a nun’s convent in such a place!
“Sisters, I hope for success in the hunt today.”
“Sister Elang. Is the song prepared?”
“Of course!”
Marching ahead were the Sisters, followed closely by three similarly clad women and one man laboring under a heap of baggage.
The smallest of them was Oknodie, that’s me! The other sisters were Sia and Snowville, with the baggage carrier being our instructor, Senior Olosst.
“What’s going on here?”
“Shh! We must gauge the atmosphere at the beginning.”
A little while later, upon reaching the cliff, the Sisters spread out like an orchestra preparing for a performance, standing tall and synchronic in their movements, ready to sing in perfect unity.
“Laaaaaaaaaa♪”
The sound resonated beautifully, akin to the seductive call of a siren.
Suddenly, a flying-type monster looped around the sky and landed on the cliff after veering off its path.
One by one, monsters were drawn to the enchanting melody, settling upon the rocks around them.
Seizing the moment, the Sisters began discreetly pulling out nets, spears, and staves while continuing their song.
[Grab]
[Throw]
[Induce]
Watching the Sisters lure in monsters with their song like sirens on the beach, Snowville was in awe.
“Wow. I was curious about how impoverished nunnery in such a backwater village survives with minimal funding, but now I understand! They lure monsters into traps to feast on them! There are plenty of bizarrely placed convents, but now it all makes sense.”
Olosst could hardly contain his disbelief.
“Could that really happen? This place is the weird one. Normally, convents are for those foolish daughters who tarnish the family’s name or guilty wives who get locked up to suffer for a lifetime. They live on meager rations, relying on external support while enduring a miserable life without escape.”
“Wow… that’s utterly hopeless. Disappointing, really. So, what’s this place then?”
“What else? It’s blatantly suspicious.”
As I gauged the atmosphere for a moment, one of the veteran Sisters approached us.
“Well then, let’s practice hunting this time.”
“Yes!”
Sing cautiously asked from behind, “I can’t sing. Can I just slice them invisibly and pretend to have been lured by the song?”
“If you’re unnoticed, it’s fine! But you probably won’t be unnoticed. The Principal wouldn’t place rubbish in a fun facility. At least one of them will know.”
According to Olosst, the very existence of this deeply abnormal convent indicates significant danger, so we should refrain from making rash moves.
We shifted our positions to a different cliff devoid of blood smell and prepared for our second hunt.
This time, we too joined the singing luring group.
[Imitation]
“Laaaaaaaaaa♪”
As I perfectly mimicked the Sisters’ song, monsters began to descend around me.
Thanks to my high charm stats and imitation skill, I attracted more monsters than the surrounding Sisters!
After capturing the lured monsters, the Sisters beamed with happiness.
“What a lovely voice!”
“You have talent!”
“To have such talent on just the second day of your basic training, that’s extraordinary!”
“Hehe. I’m just that great!”
“Alright, let’s keep up the hard work back at the convent.”
Returning to the convent with heaps of food.
The building atop the cliff.
This beautiful nun convent, resembling a painting as you approached, emanated an oddly ominous aura.
Suspiciously engraved with many Mana Techniques.
Serious maintenance on par with special research labs and military facilities, hours of dedication in upkeep for the convent.
Sing, Snowville, and Olosst all wore tense expressions and kept their mouths shut tightly.
“Well, thanks to the remarkable efforts of Sister Oknodie, we’ve surpassed the daily quota for essential foodstuffs. Let’s give a round of applause.”
“Thank you!”
“Well done, rookie!”
“Congratulations!”
“Hazu, great job, rookie!”
Hehe-hah.
With praise pouring in, my lips couldn’t help but curl up.
Eagerly I dove my hand into my backpack and scattered colored paper around, “Ta-da!” but the senior sister shot me a stern look, devoid of laughter.
“Please pick up the trash.”
“Yes…”
After busily sweeping up the paper scraps, Snowville sighed, wearing a look of disbelief.
“Didn’t we catch this for ourselves? Where are we delivering it now? Does this convent have enough residents to fill a bucket with meat?”
“Scared? Want me to accompany you?”
“Please, yes! Come with me!”
Ugh, such a coward.
Thinking of my timid friend Titosso, I decided to be generous and indulge them.
“Oknodie. Doesn’t it smell oddly medicinal here?”
“Ah, that’s just from cleaning the meat off. We used bleach and ozone disinfection, leaving traces behind.”
“Why would a convent need such strict cleaning procedures…? And by cleaning, you mean blood cleaning, right?”
You’ll know when you see it!
After following the veteran Sister, we arrived at the [Distribution Center].
Before opening the door, the Sister handed us a set of rules.
“Remember, never stop singing in the Distribution Center. Do not forget your charitable spirit. If you are overtaken by fear and skew even slightly from your holy tune, you could die.”
Upon opening the heavy door, monstrous creatures towering over 2.3 meters stared at us drooling.
I had seen similar gods around the cliff, but witnessing this scene led me to believe wholeheartedly.
“This is a convent dedicated to the God of Love Atalaxia. The only place where nuns undergo survival training by enchanting monsters daily!”
What a perfect place to rejuvenate.
Unlike me, Snowville’s expression screamed “Take me home!”
