[What did I find? What is this?]

(A picture of a man peering into a sparkling pure white door.)
After the siege war ended and with nothing else to do, I was exploring islands far from the continent and found this really weird door.
It looks like it’s almost 30m tall, and the white surface has some engravings—doesn’t it scream angel-related stuff?
As soon as I saw it, I thought, “Damn, it’s a hidden object!” and ran over, but there was no response, so I was flustered;;
I’d rather face a boss, honestly ㅡㅡ

─Oh
─Crazy, that’s it!
└What’s that?
└That, lol!
└It seems like it’s related to angels? Didn’t we see angels and demons in the siege war trailer? Could it be that?
└Hmm, could it be true?
└But why won’t it open? ;;
└Maybe it’s because the next year’s monthly report hasn’t opened yet, lol!
─Where is that?
└Not telling you.
└? You said it wouldn’t open anyway.
└It was super hard to find this place. There were level 120 monsters swarming around, and I barely got through to discover it, lol.
└Wow.
└How much is that? Tsk tsk, it’s easy to find anyway.
└Nope, you won’t find it~.
─Wouldn’t Lily know? It’s her when you say angel.
└Oh my god.
└So, I’ll ask Lily when she goes live. Let’s go check it out.
└? Didn’t you just say you wouldn’t tell anyone?
└If it’s Lily, it’s a done deal.
└For real, lol.
└Info) Lily extremely hates angels.
─I think someone else found it too?
└?
[Oh, I found it too]

(Another picture of a man giving a thumbs up in front of another sparkling pure white door.)
I was reading this post while searching through the islands and found a door while digging deeper.
It looks similar; is this the same one?

─Huh?
─What? This isn’t the same one as earlier?
└Are there multiple?
└This door is ridiculously common, lol!
└?????
└Wait, I seriously searched for this, and there’s another one?
└Level, lol!
└Sigh, tsk tsk, just trying to hog it all for himself.
└Pfft.
─So what’s that?
└Don’t know, I heard it doesn’t respond.
└Seems to be related to angels.
└Should ask Lily about it.
└Wouldn’t someone with the angel class react to it?
└Who else is there besides Lily?
└Maybe Aisha?
─Is there any door related to demons?
└Demons appeared as rookies. They disappeared after being trashed by Lily.
└Oh…
└So, what’s Lily doing right now?
“Door. Door. Door. It’s all the rage. Totally chaotic.”
“Um um um… That’s right. Yup.”
After the siege war, it’s already September.
September 9.
I greeted Leo, who had reappeared after a long time, with a big smile.
Well, to be precise, I had smiled.
She came to me with snacks, including cookies, and flaunted her newfound strength from all her hard training.
And then…
Hmm!
“I saw the Pure White Gate.”
“Yes, um… about four of them?”
The ‘Pure White Gate’ that appeared after the Siege War.
It’s a white gate, about 20m tall, that supposedly cannot be opened by any means currently known.
Even if Leo used ‘four’ different types of Spirit Ascension and pushed Zeus’s powers to the limit, it still wouldn’t work.
I haven’t tried to open it myself, but it’s probably physically impossible.
“It feels related to the next boss, I thought I should let you know. That feeling—”
“Like an angel vibe?”
“Yes!”
“……”
It was clear that what was shown during the Siege War wasn’t just the Silence of the Dead.
In the footage, alongside the majestic Heaven, there was also the sight of a Celestial person with pure white wings.
The interest was directed toward the Demon Race, mostly because they had a longer presence compared to the brief glimpse of the Celestial Race.
Moreover, the Demon Race’s mountain of corpses was quite shocking for the average user.
In contrast, the Celestial Race was just shown casually sitting by a fountain.
I nodded my head.
“By the way, I’ve been hearing a lot of talks around here; thanks for the good info.”
“Hehe. It’s nothing.”
“So, how’s your training going?”
“Um, it’s completely good.”
Leo was munching on her cookie while giving a thumbs up, having achieved Spirit Ascension in three elements.
If it had been before, even achieving two elemental Spirit Ascensions would have been challenging, but now she handles three elements with ease.
She could even control four elements if she focused to her limits.
As expected, she was one of the top talents in Deoen that I acknowledged.
“Four-element Spirit Ascension… impressive.”
“Ugh… I managed it, but it’s still a bit overwhelming. I still struggle to do Spirit Ascension with both Spirit Kings at the same time.”
“That’s already amazing.”
When it comes to Spirit Sorcery, she surpasses any Spirit Sorcerer I’ve seen thus far.
After all, embodying two Spirit Kings in one person is no small feat.
Leo muttered, “Is that so…?” while gently poking the Earth, Wind, and Water Spirits swirling around her body.
The spirits seemed to treat her body like a playground, giggling and moving about.
“The synchronization of the Spirit Kings is quite unique, you know. They won’t be hostile to each other, but mixing among them will be very hard.”
“So, I did manage to receive both the Spirit King and Zeus at the same time. I was looking forward to it, thinking that was possible…”
Phew…
Leo sighed as he rested his chin on the table.
Tap tap.
As if comforting him, the Water Spirit, resembling a slime, patted Leo’s shoulder with its long arms.
“… I think I need to get better at multiple summoning first. I’ve successfully handled four elements, so this time… five!”
“How many properties do you have now?”
“Uh… Earth, Water, Wind, Lightning…”
Leo counted the numbers by folding down his short fingers one by one.
Finding it cute, I pinched his cheek. Leo glanced up at me, puffed out his cheek as he brushed my hand away, and continued counting.
“Six?”
“Yes, six. You have everything except for Fire and Darkness.”
“I guess that’s the case.”
Leo had a total of six properties: Earth, Water, Wind, Lightning, Ice, and Light.
If he were to obtain the remaining Fire and Darkness, Leo would become the Spirit Sorcerer who could handle all eight existing properties, something no other Spirit Sorcerer in the world had ever achieved.
“Although he’s already quite exceptional now.”
Among them, Lightning was more of a forced ‘spiritualization’ of Zeus, who was originally a celestial entity, rather than a true contract with a spirit.
But if it counts as a spirit, then it’s a spirit, right?
I nodded but then a question came to mind.
“That’s a bit strange.”
“Yes?”
“I get that the Light Spirit was acquired as a hidden one by Lord Leo, so that’s fine. And I know Darkness cannot form a spirit contract as it opposes Light. But…”
“Yes?”
“Why haven’t you made a contract with the Fire Spirit?”
After all, Light and Darkness are not normal spirits.
They are mutated beings that have warped into the Holy and Magic forms or have succumbed to Corruption.
In contrast, the Fire Spirit was the most common spirit that almost all Spirit Sorcerers would typically contract.
Of course, Fire Spirits don’t particularly prefer Water or Ice Spirits, but if the Spirit Sorcerer has enough willpower to contract, it should be possible.
‘Could it be that he dislikes Fire Spirits?’
Considering he was using all sorts of spirits, that seemed a bit off.
Leo scratched his head with an awkward expression.
“Uh, it’s not that big of a deal…”
“Really?”
“Um… it’s just that the first spirit I contracted was the Ice Spirit…”
According to Leo, when he successfully contracted with the Ice Spirit, she was overjoyed, and he wanted to fulfill most of the spirit’s requests.
Among those, the Ice Spirit suggested that he not contract with the Fire Spirit.
“Not making a contract with the spirit.”
Anyway, at that time, it was difficult to even see a spirit, and dealing with opposing attributes was tricky, so she gladly accepted the offer.
As time went on, she gradually succeeded in making contracts with spirits of other attributes.
Additionally, by becoming a disciple of the Spirit Lord, who was a contractor with the Spirit King, she ultimately succeeded in making a contract with the Spirit King, rendering the promise made that day practically meaningless.
A pledge with a Lower Spirit holds little significance to a Higher Spirit.
Let alone for Leo, who carries the name of the Spirit King, that promise must have felt lighter than a feather.
“Of course, I wasn’t planning to break it. Still, someday I wanted to ask for the Ice Spirit’s understanding and contract with the Fire Spirit. But…”
“But…?”
“These days, the Fire Spirit has been nowhere to be seen…”
“Hmm? Again?”
“Yes…”
Last year, it seemed the Water Spirits had vanished as a premonition of the Kraken, and this time, the Fire Spirit appears to be taking on that role.
It is a well-established fact that the disaster next year will be the Celestial Race and the Demon Race.
No matter how much of a Spirit King he is, I’m not sure how much he can really do, but it must be important to Leo.
In the past, he asked for my help alongside the Spirit Lord, but he didn’t do that this year.
When I asked him why, Leo nodded as if it was obvious.
“I can’t just keep relying on others. I’ve become way stronger compared to then.”
“That’s true.”
Leo has indeed become much stronger than last year.
Whether it’s through power or mental aspects, it’s not common to find someone who can stop Leo.
“And…”
“And?”
“I think Lady Lily might be a bit complicated with this. Maybe it’s better if we handle this from our side…”
“……”
Soon, the Celestial Race and the Demon Race will appear.
The Demon Race has shown up several times as an enemy while playing Deoen or as disasters that try to ruin the world, but the appearance of the Celestial Race is extremely rare.
Even if they do show up, they weren’t particularly hostile from the users’ perspective.
‘What if…’
What if the year changes and the Celestial Race reveals themselves?
‘…Will they really show up as “enemies”?’
